Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer
Summary/Objectives: Oversee the details of all Theta marketing projects through a detailed and streamlined process and, as the main contact on all projects, provide exemplary client service.  
Organization Overview:
Founded in 1870 at Indiana Asbury (now DePauw University) in Greencastle, Ind., Kappa Alpha Theta is the first Greek-letter Fraternity known among women. In creating Kappa Alpha Theta, our founders were leading the way for women's groups and for women in higher education. Our members are women of all ages: women who attended college in nearly every US state and Canadian province, women who live all over the world, and women with varied professions, faiths, and ethnic backgrounds. Kappa Alpha Theta currently has over 200,000 living members. We have chapters on over 140 college campuses across the U.S. and Canada, and over 215 active alumnae groups around the world. The organization comprises the Kappa Alpha Theta Fraternity, Foundation, and Housing Corporation.

Essential Functions:
• Manage details for all marketing projects to include:
   • Schedule project meetings and develop and distribute project synopsis to attendees following meetings
   • Develop project schedules
   • Communicate details of projects with clients through a weekly reporting system
   • Coordinate and manage client approval of project drafts and page proofs 
   • Work with vendors to secure production estimate, place order, coordinate proofing process and provide approvals
   • Monitor budgets
   • Process vendor invoices
   • Send appropriate communication to team members and client to keep project on schedule.
   • Communicate client feedback to appropriate members of marketing communications team
• Prepare agenda, participate in, and record notes for regularly scheduled marketing and communications staff meetings.
• Attend, participate in and take notes at weekly production meeting.
• Maintain vendor relationships and coordinate production of marketing materials for events, including but not limited to, ELI, CEO Leadership Academy, and Grand Convention.
• Provide editing, proofing and project feedback when needed. 
• Assist with other programs and projects as requested.
• Share responsibility for answering phones. 
• Serve as primary administrator for Basecamp (project management software)

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum one-year experience and knowledge of marketing preferred
• Use of Microsoft programs, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint, as well as Basecamp project management preferred.
