Under the supervision of the Director of Programs, the STEAM Program Manager will provide leadership and oversight to the Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts/Agriculture, and Math Pathway Program. The STEAM Program Manager is responsible for the recruitment, hiring, training, retention and management of teen employees, program development, program evaluation, ensuring timely and accurate data collection and ensuring quality and coordinated service delivery for program eligible high school youth. In addition, the STEAM Program Manager develops and maintains collaborative relationships with worksite partners inclusive of community based organizations and corporate/industry partners and other wraparound service providers and agencies.  
• Outreach and recruitment of TeenWorks teens
• Develop and maintain contacts with community organizations and educational institutions for the purpose of outreach, recruitment and positive public relations 
• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with teens, parents, industry and worksite partners and resource agencies
• Present information regarding TeenWorks programs and services to a range of audiences  
• Provide orientation to teens on the services and eligibility requirements of TeenWorks programs in both group settings and individually  
• Conduct monthly worksite visits as required
• Determine eligibility and assist youth with enrollment into program services 
• Assist teens with their career planning and career decision-making process  
• Assess teen employment and training needs
• Facilitate and implement job readiness classes
• Support teens with positive and meaningful employment placements   
• Provide leadership and oversight of program pathway
• Assist teens in the attainment of post-secondary credentials and certifications
• Provide appropriate job referrals for teens
• Conduct follow-up services with teens regarding future career, educational or post-secondary development  
• Assist in organizing, developing and participating in job fairs, field trips, correspondence and other youth elements and activities as outlined
• Engage parents in education and career plans and activities
• Utilize The Case Management Toolbox for youth case management data collection
• Monitor youth performance outcomes
• Other duties as assigned 
• Ability to provide positive, outstanding customer service to teens, parents, community and industry- based partners
• Ability to maintain confidentiality  
• Ability to interact positively with diverse populations
• Ability to work in a team environment and provide support to fellow team members is essential
• Knowledge and thorough understanding of the job search process, Indiana job markets, Child Labor Laws, and other related items
• Problem-solving skills, organizational skills, time management skills
• Excellent oral and written communications skills  
• Ability to work with minimal to moderate supervision
• An extreme focus on good judgment with a proactive approach to problem solving
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times

• Actively strive to upgrade professional skills through engaging in appropriate professional training and experience
• Proficiency in a variety of computer software applications are required including Microsoft Office Suite, email and internet applications
BS/BA degree in human service field.  Three to five years of experience working with youth especially marginalized, homeless or runaway youth, community organizations, volunteers, and businesses.  Knowledge of grant programs, case management, mentoring, or related STEAM program experience is preferred.
Must pass a drug screening, Criminal Background and Bureau of Motor Vehicle check.
