Outreach is a faith-based nonprofit organization in Indianapolis, IN that works with homeless  youth (ages 14-24) with the compassion of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to equip and empower homeless youth and young adults to achieve stability and life transformation.

Position Summary  
This position is all about building bridges that consist of two distinct lanes: Communication and Events. Communicating out the life changing mission of Outreach and creating relational engagement environments for people to get involved with our mission. This position has the awesome opportunity and responsibility to share the life-transforming mission and needs of Outreach via large and small group settings, using various publishing mediums.
Position Duties & Responsibilities
The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required of personnel.
• Develop and execute Outreach branding guidelines
• Create and execute yearly communication and event plan
• Create and manage content on Outreach's website and social media platforms
• Responsible for all external day to day communications to partners i.e. enewsletter, emails, press releases, print, promo collaterals. 
• Develop and execute advertisement plan
• Manage and develop communication vendors i.e. printers, software.
• Equip and inspire communication contractors – Graphic Designer/Videographer/Photographer
• Equip and inspire intern staff
• Design, manage and execute all Outreach events, both fundraising and youth. 
• Manage event volunteer team. 
• Create, manage and host bi-annual corporate and church 'get togethers'.
• Sharing the Outreach story in large and small public settings. 
• Design and facilitate various Outreach homeless simulations.

• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Self-starter with passion for marketing/communications, social media, and philanthropy
• Ability to work independently and manage high-detail, deadline-sensitive projects with professional quality
• Team player attitude, demonstrated by being flexible and responsible as well as being a selfstarter.
• Experience managing professional social media platforms
• Basic understanding of Illustrator and Photoshop
• Website management and editing. Outreach uses Wix website design tools. 
• Knowledge or strong interest in analytics, SEO, and digital marketing
• Experience working with marketing management software (HubSpot, Google Analytics)
Work Environment
This position operates in an office environment. The individual is expected to maintain personal/professional competency and works to create an environment of courtesy, respect, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude in all interactions both internal and external to the organization.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time salaried position and requires the ability to be flexible in your day-to-day work schedule including evening and weekends for events and promotions
Required Education and Experience
• College degree or equivalent experience
• 2 years of experience in marketing, communications and event management 
• Individual is required to possess highly developed account management, project management, communication, collaboration, organizational, time management skills.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Must pass a criminal background check in accordance with Outreach's operating protocol.
