Since 1910, the Boy Scouts of America have helped mold the future leaders of this country by combining educational activities and the teaching of lifelong values with fun. The Activities Administrative Assistant will further this mission by providing support for the many programs and activities that the Crossroads of America Boy Scout Council offers to our 32,000 youth members and 7,000 adult volunteers in central Indiana.

The first thing that comes to mind when many people think of Scouting is camping. We maintain seven world-class camps which host thousands of participants each year at 14 different summer camp programs as well as a variety of year-round camping opportunities. But Scouting is so much more. In addition to our camps, the Program Department is responsible for many other activities such as Scout Days at sporting events and local attractions, community service projects including Scouting for Food, and learning opportunities like merit badge classes, youth and adult trainings.

Working in this dynamic, fast-paced area, the Activities Administrative Assistant will support the Activities and Civic Service Director, provide customer service to our volunteers, and help coordinate many of the fun camps and activities our members attend.
