Founded in 1998, The Oaks Academy is a Christ-centered school that exists to provide a rich, classical education to children of diverse racial and socioeconomic backgrounds, preparing them to succeed in a rigorous secondary educational program and to demonstrate spiritual, social and emotional maturity. Currently on three campuses, serving over 800 students, the Oaks Academy will continue to grow to serve more children.
 
Job Summary
Achieves admissions objectives by recruiting prospective family student candidates while building trust and relationship; identify, build, and maintain community partners to achieve short and long term enrollment goals; and has a thorough understanding of PreK-8th educational landscape.
 
Recruitment Manager Job Duties
• Full understanding of each of the admission recruitment markets and creative ways to penetrate each of the diverse markets.
• Establishes recruiting requirements by studying admission student enrollment goals and strategic growth plans of The Oaks as established by members of the Leadership Team.
• Builds applicant sources by research and building pathways into community organizations, professional and social organizations, early education centers, student recruitment fairs/events, churches, untapped and underrepresented markets of families, social media, and internet sites.
• Providing admission and process information, opportunities, and benefits; making event presentations; maintaining rapport, with each client.
• Determines applicant requirements by grade and ability level.
• Work with TOA Marketing to attract applicants by placing strategic advertisements in social and professional advertisements, church bulletins, neighborhood newsletters and websites, bill boards, and multiple signage opportunities, direct mailings, and neighborhood events and locations.
• Schedule and manage group tours as needed for community groups to establish introduction and relationship to TOA.
• Primary point of contact for On My Way PreK and Early Learn Indiana admissions and relationships.
• Improves TOA attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices by monitoring community opinion and need.
• Manages community feeder (partners) by conducting information sessions; scheduling group tours and events; coaching prospective parents; building trust with community partners and prospective parents.
• Complete understanding of guidelines, schedules, deadlines, and processes for OMW, DEL, Choice Voucher, and SGO systems.
• Updates recruitment knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
• Accomplishes established admissions goals within TOA mission.

Qualifications
• Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Sales/Marketing, Management or related End-Customer related field
• Background in admissions or recruitment is preferred
• Past sales history is preferred, sales management is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point
• Proficiency in Social Media and Web Recruiting
• Ability to work independently or as a part of a team
• Must be able to work nights and weekends
• Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable transportation with current insurance
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred
• Must be results driven to meet established admission goals
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality and sensitivity in all school matters
