Riley Children's Foundation is hiring a Vice President, People.  As the fundraising arm of Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health and the founding organization that opened Riley Hospital in 1924, our mission is to raise funds statewide to support sick and injured children. 
Position Purpose
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Vice President, People, is an active participant in making strategic decisions affecting Riley Children's Foundation. In partnership with the COO and the Leadership Team, the Vice President, People, is a strategist and internal consultant who helps the Foundation think about people, culture and workplace practices. This position owns the important role of developing leaders, anticipating talent management needs and enabling the Foundation to reach maximum organizational health.

• Salary Administration, Benefits, HRIS and Compliance
• Office Administration

Job Requirements
• Education: Bachelor's degree; Graduate degree preferred. SHRM-SCP certification, coaching certification a plus.
• Experience: Minimum 7-10 years' progressive organization-wide leadership/management and coaching experience. Demonstrated ability to be a successful participant on a senior management team that provides organizational leadership and direction. Proven track record of building highly engaged, high performing, results-driven culture and teams.
• Skills: Well-developed leader, communicator and strong teammate. High-level emotional intelligence. Creative, analytical and problem-solving capabilities. A visionary. Authentic. Superior management skills with ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports and peers. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities (writing, editing, verbal and presentation). Generational savvy. Strong project development and business acumen. Strong bias to action. Ability to handle multiple projects and quickly "change gears" as needed. Excellent judgment. Presence and confidence to project credibility to colleagues and staff. Self-reliant. Attention to detail and organization.
• Technical Skills: Broad knowledge and experience in leadership, people management, organizational development, organizational planning, coaching, talent management and other human resource areas -- benefits, compensation, employee relations, payroll. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products with a key focus on Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience with SharePoint a plus.
