We are looking for the next Marion County Promise, Project Coordinator who:

Key Responsibilities:
The Project Coordinator is responsible for leading and administering the Marion County Promise, a grassroots, community-driven children's savings account program. This person has awareness of the diversity of organizational partners across central Indiana and has experience working with children, families, and schools in an urban setting. It is essential for this person to engage families in the process of creating a college-going culture by helping youth pursue their dreams beyond high school and rally the community around the issue of education attainment.
 
We are seeking an individual who is excited about generating and experimenting with new approaches and activities to guide improvements of the program and fosters a strong commitment to achieving goals in a manner that provides lasting impact. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for executing a strategic plan, preparing a variety of communications, facilitating community conversations, and building authentic relationships. The ideal candidate acts with a high degree of integrity and cultivates trust in others. This person is both passionate and results driven. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills is essential.
 
The Marion County Promise, Project Coordinator must be able to anticipate and take action to meet the needs of community members and partners. This person has strong leadership abilities and is self-motivated. The ideal candidate is dedicated to the improvement of his or her own capabilities and demonstrates this through the continual expansion of knowledge and skills. This position has the flexibility to work remotely for the majority of the working week, but will be required to commute to in-person meetings with partners and at the downtown office weekly.
 
Requirements:
Minimum of two years professional experience in an educational setting or nonprofit environment.

Team:
This position reports to the Director of Promise Indiana.
