Part-Time: 20 hours per week;  Schedule:  Tuesday-Thursday 8-3

The Advancement Coordinator position supports the Advancement Department's donor relations initiatives. The incumbent will do this through successful management of the donor database and donor stewardship processes through accurately performing gift processing, data administration and timely stewardship processing.  This individual will work in conjunction with the Advancement team to execute strategies and initiatives to cultivate and steward donors and prospects in support of INHP's mission.

The Indianapolis Neighborhood Housing Partnership (INHP) is the leading neighborhood and homeownership resource in Marion County dedicated to neighborhood development and revitalization serving homeowners and homebuyers with low and moderate incomes.  INHP has empowered thousands of working families for over 30 years to become and remain homeowners.  This is accomplished through an effective blend of homeownership education, financial and mortgage advising and a variety of affordable mortgage and loan options to buy a home or make improvements.  Our comprehensive homeowner and homebuyer services are designed to create and support homeowners who can sustain their investment in their homes-ultimately helping to strengthen and encourage the growth of vibrant Indianapolis neighborhoods. 

Specific duties of this position include but are not limited to:  utilizing fundraising software (Raiser's Edge) to track donors and prospects; managing the donor database including data input and clean-up issues;  completing gift processing and record keeping; updating records on all gifts, pledges and transactions; managing electronic and hard copy donor files; tracking and recognizing in-kind donations; assisting with direct mail campaigns and special events.

This position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. Previous experience using a fundraising platform/database is preferred.
