Health Care Education & Training, Inc.'s (HCET) mission is to provide comprehensive program development, education, and training to improve reproductive and sexual health outcomes. HCET has offices in Indianapolis, IN and Madison, WI. 
 
The HCET Training Manager is dedicated to reproductive health promotion and will maintain HCET's reputation for providing exceptional adult learning opportunities, program support, evaluation, and fidelity management. This position has the primary responsibility of identifying and screening presenters, facilitating the use of web-based technology, and managing small- and large-scale events.  The Training Manager works in collaboration with Project Managers and other staff to identify training needs and topics, as well as ensure HCET meetings, trainings, and events are professional, responsive to participants, and support broader project goals. Reporting to the Director of Community Health or the Director of Community Programs and Partnerships, the Training Manager works to advance the HCET mission by ensuring all meetings, trainings, and events are of the highest quality.
 
Responsibilities:
• Provide education, training opportunities, programming, meeting planning, and other support to state and federally funded family planning agencies, STD program partners, adolescent health professionals, and others.
• Provide program implementation and fidelity monitoring support for HCET projects, including:
 o Conducting site visits with partners and provide timely written and verbal feedback. 
 o Coordinating monthly collaborative meetings with project partners and facilitators.
 o Ensuring the implementation and fidelity of evidence-based programs. 
• Maintain and develop organization-wide training calendar in collaboration with HCET Training Manager(s), Directors, and Project Managers.
• Plan and manage online and in-person training events/meetings for HCET projects. 
• Facilitate planning committees for online and in-person trainings and meetings. 
• Introduce presenters, moderate webinars, develop online trainings, and actively manage event details with an eye toward quality.
• Select, supervise, and evaluate consultants, presenters, and vendors.
• Manage appropriate nursing contact hour documentation for approved activities.
• Design and deliver presentations.
• Assist with design, promotion, analysis, and dissemination of training needs assessments.
• Support HCET's ongoing project evaluation activities.
• Assist with preparation of required grant and project reports.
• Travel in-state, regionally, and nationally as required (roughly 10-15%)
• Participate in professional development opportunities as requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
 
Requirements:
• 3+ years in public health, reproductive and sexual health, social work, or related field.
• 3+ years developing and delivering in-person/online training for adults.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with fellow HCET staff, health care professionals, state and federal partners, and community-based professionals.
• Commitment to reproductive and sexual health education and access for all 
• Bachelor's degree required.
