The statewide organization is seeking a Development Manager to lead and expand fundraising efforts for our growing nonprofit. Interested applicants must be experienced in planning and executing fundraising campaigns, maintaining donor relations, personable, organized and detail-oriented. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with a development team for a nonprofit. The organization is seeking a dedicated professional to focus on outreach and development activities.

Reports To: IWIN Board of Directors

Job Responsibilities:
• Establish and execute a strategic development plan that incorporates a range of strategies including annual appeals, major donors, grants, social media, third party and special events to meet funding needs
• Prepare and administer fundraising campaigns and fundraising communications
• Create and implement new major donor and planned giving programs
• Cultivate and steward relationships with individual donors, corporate partners and community groups to increase giving
• Produce fundraising campaign and donor solicitation materials
• Develop and solicit sponsors for IWIN special events
• Assist the organization with researching, writing, submitting and tracking grant applications and reports to foundations and corporations
• Actively manage a statewide portfolio of grant, corporate and community gift prospects.  Collaborate with the Operations Director to manage the organization's donor database ensuring accurate, consistent and timely recording of gifts, contact information and general communications
• Manage grant and donor gift acknowledgements
• Prepare and manage financial reports as needed
• Assist the Board of Directors with recruitment of Development Committee members
• Attend networking events to enhance IWIN's outreach and fundraising capacities
• Represent IWIN as an official spokesperson to existing and potential donors as well as at public events

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of non-profit experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability and experience in fundraising and community relations
• Highly motivated and dependable; Desire to work as part of a team
• Highly personable, energetic and creative
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work some nights and weekends
• Grant writing experience preferred
• Car and valid driver's license
• Experience with CRM programs a plus
