Leads the efforts to tell the Sorority's story across a variety of platforms, developing best‐in‐class content delivered through various avenues to reach targeted audiences.

• Create and execute strategies to tell the Sorority's story and drive how the brand demonstrates Empowering Women
• Assess communication needs of the organization on an ongoing basis
• Develop and oversee the overall brand strategy for the Sorority consistent with the strategic goals of the organization
• Develop and oversee communication and marketing initiatives that support the brand strategy for the Sorority including identification of key audiences, messaging for each audience, and message delivery vehicles
• Serve as the project manager and team leader to develop best-in-class marketing plans and content
• Design and deliver external and internal communication strategies for the organization, including but not limited to The TORCH magazine, collateral materials, press releases, and newsletters, as well as the Sorority's web and social media presence
• Analyze data related to open rates, followers/subscribers and other digital marketing analytics
• Serve as editor for The Torch magazine
• Serve as the principal responder in crisis communication in coordination with the Executive Director
• Design and produce various training resources
• Work across departments to effectively capture and tell the story of the organization
• Write and edit web content, blog posts, social media content, news releases, magazine articles, operational manuals, e‐newsletters, brochures and other items to enhance long‐ and short‐term communications
• Monitor and maintain consistency of organizational brand standards
• Implement marketing efforts for the establishment of new chapters
• Select and coordinate work with outside vendors within budgetary parameters
• Routinely provide effective collaboration with other staff to ensure a high level of communication and productivity
• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in communication, marketing, public relations, or a related field
• At least five years of relevant professional experience
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with experience in working with top‐level management or non‐profit volunteers
• Must be a self‐starter; highly organized and detail‐oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and able to work well with members and volunteers at all levels in the organization
• Demonstrated knowledge of AP Style
• Strong skills in project management, writing, editing, idea generation, multi‐tasking and critical thinking
• Ability to manage and interpret data and use it to drive results
• Experience in social and digital media and web content management
• Experience in managing a team and outside vendors, especially those with creative talent
• Proficiency in using Adobe Creative Suite (specifically, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop), as well as Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience in managing WordPress sites highly preferred
• Experience with video creation and editing highly preferred
• Confidence to engage with the team to reach common goals and solve problems
• Willingness to continually learn new things
• Ability to recognize potential problems and develop solutions
• Ability to deliver excellent, solution‐focused customer service via email, in person, and on the phone
• Strong attention to details while keeping the overall goals of a project in mind
• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment
• Prior association or sorority/fraternity experience preferred
• Must be able to travel out‐of‐town within the United States as required (approx. two times/year), including nights, weekends to fulfill job responsibilities
