Construction is wrapping up on the new 10,000 square foot Resident Success Center at Carriage House East apartments on the far eastside of Indianapolis. This is a dramatic expansion of the resident support efforts that Glick Philanthropies provides at its apartment communities and will serve as a pilot for the development of best practices, proof of concept, and multiplication to other Glick Family Housing Foundation sites and a resident support model to be promoted across the industry.

The Director of Resident Success Centers will support the buildout of the center and develop programming and proof of concept at this location over the next couple years in anticipation of growing the effort to more Glick locations and sharing learnings with other developers and not-for-profits.  

There is a beginning on-site team of five plus the director with three team members currently in place providing resident supports. Two more positions are being added to support administration and maintenance of the new facility. The center will operate with accounting and HR support provided from the Glick corporate office. The center does not have a board of directors but will support and interact with a wide range of stakeholders within Carriage House East, the Glick organization, and the nearby community. 

Glick leadership is looking for a motivated and seasoned not-for-profit leader who has "been there and done that" and can quickly take charge of this single site, prove the positive impacts of programming, and move forward with expansion to additional Glick Family Housing Foundation apartment communities. The ideal candidate will have an evident fervor to provide opportunities, education and experiences residents needed to break the cycle of poverty. This person will be an inspiring leader able to encourage residents to dream of a better future embodied by empowerment and self-sustainability.

Qualifications:
• An entrepreneurial spirit
• Enthusiasm and focus to lead and act without daily supervision.
• An understanding of the integration of various roles, skills and competencies necessary in serving the needs of people in poverty, children, adolescents, families and seniors.
• Ability to develop and evaluate effective programming and operational policies and procedures.
• Minimum of five years of relevant and progressive supervisory and management experience. Efficiently managing administration, building capacity, leading staff, delegating, executing performance evaluation and organization evaluation, managing a performance outcomes/based organization.
• Proven ability to build partnerships and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.
• A Bachelor's degree in a related, relevant field is required (such as social work, business administration, facility management or nonprofit management.)
• Grant writing and grants management experience preferred. 
• The ability to understand and interpret financial reports and budgeting.
• Superior communication and people skills, public speaking, working with diverse groups of stakeholders and navigating various internal multi-team collaborations
