Indiana Donor Network is one of 58 designated organ recovery organizations in the United States and coordinates organ, tissue and eye donation throughout the state. Indiana Donor Network is devoted to public education about donation and transplantation with the goal of saving and enhancing more lives.

SPECIFICALLY, INDIANA DONOR NETWORK:
•       Provides Hoosiers with information needed to make an informed decision about donation
•       Offers access to the Indiana Donor Registry so people can register their decision
•       Evaluates potential donors for medical suitability to donate organs and/or tissue
•       Coordinates the donation process according to federal regulations and with the utmost respect for medical ethics
•       Offers grief support services to families before, during and after donation
•       Educates healthcare professionals about the donation process
•       Assists Indiana hospitals in developing donation policies and procedures.

Position Description
We are looking for a dynamic and creative professional to join our community development team. This position exists to leverage events and experiential opportunities to achieve marketing goals. The Experiential Marketing Coordinator will be a member of the Community Development team with a focus on ideating, presenting and producing original activations. This person will have responsibility of flawlessly executing and implementing 15-20 events and activations in differing locations.  They will oversee the development and organization of special events, dedications, receptions, and galas.  They will be involved in recruitment, retaining, and supporting high-visibility volunteers to chair Indiana Donor Network public events such as galas, Foundation fundraising events, special dedications, and task forces.  This individual will initiate and sustain collaborative relationships with individuals, community groups, schools, religious organizations, educators, businesses, state agencies and trade organizations that may benefit Indiana Donor Network in the strategic development of Indiana Donor Network special events. This team member will also support other team members as they provide educational and inspirational events to other audiences, such as funeral directors, coroners, families, hospital staff and team members.

Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree in a related field or the equivalent of education and experience. A minimum of three to five years of previous fundraising, event management, volunteer coordination and event marketing experience is required.

•       Ability to work independently on multiple projects at various stages simultaneously
•       Experience working on cross-functional teams
•       A desire to serve to create exceptional experiences for Hoosiers
•       A creative mind with the ability to communicate ideas clearly
•       Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with total accountability
•       Demonstrated organizational and planning skills and attention to detail
•       Ability to represent the organization in a professional manner at all times
•       Ability to work cooperatively within a group to make the work of the group successful and effective
•       Ability to complete projects on time
