Responsibilities Include:
• Support onboarding, initial and ongoing training for all staff members
• Manage recruitment of new hires 
   o Create or recreate job description 
   o Post positions on appropriate job boards
   o Review applications, communicating with applicants and staff as appropriate 
   o Fully conduct and/or assist with interview process 
• Conduct refresher training with all staff
   o Maintain training schedule
   o Document and update personnel files upon completion of scheduled training
• Provide reports as requested (i.e. Board reports, Strategic Plan updates, grant requirements, etc.)
• Meet all deadlines as laid out in Strategic Plan as well, as 2019 internal calendar
• Conduct disciplinary actions, including terminations, when necessary 
• Alert supervisors of direct report anniversaries, allowing them enough time to conduct annual reviews and report any pay raises to Finance Director to reflect on appropriate payroll date o Inform President of anniversary package needs from her, allowing her enough time to prepare what is expected of her
• Ensure timely reviews of all employees and adhere to Anniversary packages
• Act in the best interest of Joy's House as the Employee Relations contact for all staff concerns, discipline, hiring, and growth
• Ensure that all confidential information is kept confidential and secured
• Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
• Proficient knowledge in Microsoft programs
• Ability to organize and manage numerous responsibilities and tasks
• Strong social and interpersonal skills
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift min. 50 lbs. independently.
