This position is responsible for all data and administrative aspects of the Development Department. Manages donor database, including gift entry, reporting and data backups. The Coordinator supports fundraising staff and initiatives including individual, corporate and foundation gifts as well as special events.
Duties, Functions and Responsibilities:
Oversees the following ongoing development functions: 
• Salesforce (Nonprofit Success Pack) database administration, gift processing, donor acknowledgements and reporting.
• Manage donor database, including data input, cleanup, monthly reporting/analysis
• Ensure consistent tracking of donors and prospects, and work with Volunteers department staff to ensure consistency and accuracy of volunteer data
• Prepare regular reports and provides historical analyses
• Timely processing and acknowledgment of all gifts received
• Work with program staff to track and recognize in-kind donations
• Provide outstanding customer service internally and externally
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Strong organizational skills, computer skills, donor relations, and customer service 
• Database management - Proficiency and ability to learn and utilize various types of computer based software (Salesforce, Excel, Word)
• Must demonstrate initiative and follow-through 
• Must be able to work effectively across multiple departments and at all levels of the organization 
• Maintain confidentiality of donor information
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

Education and/or equivalent experience:
• Experience with gift processing in a nonprofit organization required
• Higher education coursework in fundraising, philanthropy or nonprofit management preferred, but not required
