Indiana Donor Network is one of 58 designated organ recovery organizations in the United States and coordinates organ, tissue and eye donation throughout the state. Indiana Donor Network is devoted to public education about donation and transplantation with the goal of saving and enhancing more lives.
     i.      Provides Hoosiers with information needed to make an informed decision about donation
    ii.     Offers access to the Indiana Donor Registry so people can register their decision
    iii.    Evaluates potential donors for medical suitability to donate organs and/or tissue
    iv.     Coordinates the donation process according to federal regulations and with the utmost respect for medical ethics
    v.      Offers grief support services to families before, during and after donation
    vi.     Educates healthcare professionals about the donation process
    vii.    Assists Indiana hospitals in developing donation policies and procedures.

Are you looking for an opportunity to build your HR knowledge base while providing valuable support to a growing and busy team? As an HR Intern for Indiana Donor Network, you will be part of the team responsible for establishing the important "first impression" for the organization by providing exceptional recruitment support. Work will including sourcing candidates, conducting phone screens, scheduling and shepherding on-site interviews, and providing additional HR support as needed.

Successful candidates will have a high school diploma or GED. Must be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in human resources, business, healthcare administration, or a related field. At least one year of customer service experience is preferred. Position requires proficiency with Microsoft office software, and general computer literacy. Effective communication skills are required. Must have a desire to learn and grow within HR. Qualified candidates must also have a sense of humor and be able to respond with agility to a fast-paced and often changing environment.
