Our Mission: MIBOR REALTOR® Association empowers members and strengthens the marketplace in central Indiana through collaboration, advocacy, professionalism, education and innovation. 
Primary Responsibility 
Manages the finances of MIBOR REALTOR® Association and its three related organizations, including the accounting, reporting, and investing functions. Participates in policy development as a member of the executive team.
Specific Responsibility  
• Prepare annual operating budget along with forecasts for the two subsequent years, based on the MIBOR strategic plan, including determining a set of valid assumptions
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements showing current actual, budget and forecast information, compared to prior years
• Reconcile key accounts, including subsidiary accounts 
• Manage cash flow
• Maintain banking relationships – maximizing revenue from interest and minimizing bank fees, including credit card processing fees.  Maximize yield on all cash accounts
• Prepare investment policy and performance results for MIBOR finance committee
• Coordinate annual audit and tax returns preparation; including periodic bidding of services
• Monitor membership statistics and trends to aide in budget preparation and forecasting, including analysis of data
• Manage the financial and contractual aspects of human resources by processing payroll, and employee benefit administration
• Administer all benefit plans including 401k; Is primary contact to PEO
• Provide financial analysis for planning exercises and various projects as needed
• Supervise (1) Accounting Assistant, sets objectives and evaluates performance of accounting department staff 
• Manage internal controls to include the billing and collections processes. Oversee the work and performance of regular staff and volunteers in the areas of invoicing, receivables, vendor payables, cash receipts, payroll, subsidiary accounts, and fixed assets
• Ensure the timely payment of all taxes including property, income and sales
• Administer the association's insurance and risk management program.
Reports to Chief Executive Officer
Staff Liaison to Finance Committee   
College degree in accounting or finance, CPA preferred, minimum of six years of experience including full financial reporting and not-for-profit work. 
Working knowledge of Sage and QuickBooks™ accounting software, expertise with excel spreadsheet, charts, graphs; presentation skills
