Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing (Sigma) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is advancing world health and celebrating nursing excellence in scholarship, leadership, and service. Sigma currently has an opening for a Community Training Specialist onsite at our Indianapolis, IN headquarters. This position is responsible for developing and implementing training resources to increase the number of chapters effectively utilizing the Sigma's professional networking platform, The Circle. This includes monitoring chapter websites and working with chapters to optimize site functionality; creating resources for chapters regarding engaging members online and overall communication strategies and implementing new strategies to increase member and chapter participation in The Circle.

Develop training materials and provide in-person and online training to chapter leaders to encourage use of the society's professional networking site and other communication channels to engage members
Assist with online communities of interest
Review, update, and manage content on pages of the honor society's web site related to the chapter sites and communities of interest
Monitor member and chapter activities on The Circle and provide guidance where needed
Assist with identifying and implementing new strategies to increase member and chapter participation in The Circle

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
3-5 years of non-profit work-related experience preferred
Candidate should be technologically savvy; experience with online communities and training preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Power Point, Word and Database skills required. 
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills required.
Ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and project management.
