Purpose of the position
The Annual Fund Manager will deliver an increase in contributed income from annual giving with achievable and repeatable year-on-year growth.  Building from basic concepts of good data quality, effective cultivation and personalized stewardship the Annual Fund Manager will apply more sophisticated methods over time to retain donors and increase total giving.

Job Functions
• Working with Mission Support staff, recommend and implement annual giving strategy to achieve growth targets
• Develop highly effective communication methods to exceed industry standard conversion and retention rates
• Manage donor data
• Prospect research
• Develop and implement processes to ensure effective handling of requests, receipt and acknowledgement of gifts

Competencies
• Use of Microsoft Office Suite of tools
• Experience with one or more donor databases or similar software
• Effective time management
• Conflict management
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Able to work in a diverse team
• An appreciation for the challenges faced by families living in poverty

Qualifications
• Bachelors degree in a related field preferred
• 1-2 years' fundraising experience preferred
