ServLife International is seeking interns in administration, video, social media and development/fundraising to support our work in India and Nepal from our Indianapolis-based headquarters. Interns will have the opportunity to work alongside all levels of leadership as they support our mission to propel reconciliation and justice by building global community through planting churches, caring for children and fighting poverty through microfinance.

ABOUT US
ServLife began with a college student and a dream to connect people globally to serve the poor and share the love of Jesus. Since 1992 we have remained true to this mission, propelling reconciliation and justice by building global community to plant churches, care for children and fight poverty.

We operate primarily by partnering with and empowering local indigenous leaders in India and Nepal, and as a result maintain a small U.S. staff. We believe that the Gospel is holistic and transformative, leading us to care for the spiritual, physical, social and economic areas of people's lives.

VISION
ServLife International envisions the Gospel bringing spiritual and physical restoration and healing in the most marginalized regions in the world.

Position Duties
• Administration: This position will support sponsorship/donor activity and general office tasks.
• Social Media: This position will assist in planning, scheduling, and responding on social media platforms. They will keep close communication with the Office Manager to strategize and plan social media activity and campaigns, and research current trends to help maximize reach and engagement.
• Development/Fundraising: This position will assist the Executive Director with the execution of development and fundraising projects. They will keep close communication with the Executive Director to strategize and plan fundraising campaigns, research possible funding sources, and assist in scheduling meetings with current and potential donors.
• Video: ServLife is looking for a motivated and experienced Video Intern to edit and produce field videos of pastors, churches, children and children's homes, and families in micro-finance, delivering videos that are properly formatted for final web deployment.

Position Qualifications

General Qualifications: Must possess the highest level of work ethics and integrity with the ability to maintain confidentiality of information.  A passion for international missions and the mission of ServLife International.

Administration: Possess strong administrative and organizational skills with the ability to take initiative to complete assignments and job responsibilities with minimal supervision.  Previous experience with E-tapestry a plus.

Social Media: Possess strong writing, grammar and marketing skills with the ability to take initiative to complete assignments and job responsibilities with minimal supervision. Proficiency in Word, Excel, Photoshop, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Vimeo, Pinterest, Hootsuite and other social media platforms

Development/Fundraising: Possess strong communication skills with the ability to take initiative to complete assignments and job responsibilities with minimal supervision. Proficient and comfortable making phone calls and composing emails. Ability to multitask and complete tasks in a timely fashion.

Video: Excellent storyboarding and narrative skills. Proficiency in video editing software (FCPX, Adobe Effects, etc). Creativity, enthusiasm, patience and flexibility. High energy, self motivated, positive attitude, flexible, team player, attention to detail and high level of initiative.
