The Chapter Educational Resource Coordinator is the first point of contact for chapter and member service for Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity.  In this role, the person assists and works with approximately 50-60 student chapters and local volunteers.  The goal is to help each collegiate chapter grow and achieve their goals while working closely with three other coordinators to collaborate on chapter operations across all areas of the fraternity.
 
Duties:
• Fields calls from chapters and chapter-based volunteers to assist in providing solutions to problems
• Manage and facilitate in assessing chapters and match needed resources and assistance
• Develops relationships with chapter-based volunteers to consistently meet chapter need
• Identifies areas of need in region and works with staff and volunteers to provide solution
• Collaborates with Area Vice President and four Regional Directors to ensure resource needs of Area and individual regions are being met
• Assist with membership reporting
• Travel to one university per year for an expansion visit--market AKPsi, meet with university personnel, recruit students.  Goal is to ensure new group has training and information for a solid foundation to become a collegiate chapter. Monitor and work with colony group remotely on the colony to chapter process until the colony installs and become a student chapter.
• Act as the educational resource liaison for chapter operations, best practices, membership issues, recruitment, retention and training.
• Assists in the development and delivery of educational programming as needed
• Attends events to provide on-site staff support
• Work and monitor struggling chapters whether chapter operations, risk issues, etc.
• Provide prompt, professional, and member-centered service.
• Assist the staff/volunteer team in other areas on an as needed basis.
 
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
•     Recent college graduate (preferred)
• Excellent customer relations
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Relationship and team building essential since team environment and working with several groups of customers/clients
• Strong work ethic and initiative
• Self-starting attitude and ability to manage multiple priorities/projects
• Ability to work independently and stay on task when in the field working on expansion
