EmberWood Center and Indiana Center for Children and Families (subsidiaries of Mental Health America of Indiana) are looking for highly skilled and enthusiastic professionals with great work ethics and desire to work in the field of recovery from mental health and addiction issues.

Both agencies are working with adults and youth; EmberWood specializes in addictions recovery and ICCF focuses on issues of adults, youth, and children and their families that struggle with a variety of behavioral and emotional issues. ICCF also specializes in addressing trauma and victimization.

We are seeking counselors to enhance our treatment teams through a variety of credentials and disciplines (FT, PT, or contracted). We believe that it works best when professionals work in areas that they are passionate about and that fit their expertise; therefore we are open in combining various position tasks and areas of work to compose a position that would be fitting for each candidate, matching their interests and credentials.

We are looking for the following professional levels to grow our teams:
- Bachelor's degree in a counseling field (social work, mental health counseling, psychology, marriage and family therapy) and at least 2 years' experience in a relevant field. (BSW, BS, BA)
- Master's degree in a counseling field (social work, mental health counseling, psychology, marriage and family therapy) and at least 2 years' experience in a relevant field working under the supervision of a licensed professional. (MSW, M.Ed., MMFT, MA, MS)
- Licensed professionals in a counseling field (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAC).
Expenses would be covered for those seeking license and certification, and annual trainings to obtain CEUs would be provided, as well as supervision by licensed professionals.

We are also seeking:
- Counselors that are fluent in Spanish to complete assessments, individual, and group sessions for Spanish speaking individuals, and
- Recovery Coaches or a person with at least 2 years recovery that is willing to complete certification and be a support and a role model from people working on their recovery.

General Description
Provide direct treatment services to clients individually and in group settings including comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments. Document services in clients' charts, update clinical team as needed, and provide referrals as necessary.

Facilitate adult and/or youth psychoeducational or therapy groups and individual sessions
Complete comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and determine –in collaboration with the treatment team- appropriate level of care
Maintain complete and accurate client records by meeting deadlines, having quality writing skills, and following procedures as directed
Monitor client treatment plan progress, review, and update per policy and client needs
Provide detailed reports of client progress to clinical team members or referral sources, as needed
Collaborate with other staff to deliver services reflecting individual client needs
Assist client to access community resources and document utilization of services
Serve as a resource and client advocate regarding addictions issues
Provide crisis management for clients as problems arise
Complete incident reports within 24 hours of event
Promote health and safety of clients, staff, and facility by reporting potential problems to the Clinical Director
Model healthy boundaries, problem solving skills, and recovery lifestyle
Serve as a member of the Treatment Team; attend weekly, monthly, annual meetings, i.e. program staff meetings, treatment team meetings, in-service trainings, education conferences, and administrative staff meetings

Other Requirements
Knowledgeable about issues of mental health and addictions; training in CBT, DBT, EMDR, MI, or particular curricula is preferred
Minimally three years' sobriety, if applicable
No felony or criminal charges pending
No convictions for child abuse, sexual assault, domestic violence or related offenses
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Computer proficient
Able to complete clinical documentation, timely, accurately, and efficiently.
Ability to deal positively with high levels of stress
Able to respond to change productively and be adaptable to needs as they arise
Passionate and compassionate about working with people with emotional and addiction issues
Desire to further learning and competency, including participating in trainings, attaining certifications and licenses
Open to feedback
