The Julian Center, the state's largest and most comprehensive provider of services for survivors of domestic and sexual violence, is seeking a President/CEO.  Reporting to the Board of Directors, the President/CEO is the Chief Executive Officer of The Julian Center and the organization's chief spokesperson, representing the agency to its many constituencies, internal and external.  The President/CEO's scope of responsibility includes, community relations, strategic planning, fund development and operational, financial and administrative management.  The President/CEO will maintain an institutional culture that balances the needs of the Central Indiana community with The Julian Center's traditions, visions and programs with the efficacy of best business practices, fiscal accountability, and both community and institutional impact.

Education and Experience:
The President/CEO of The Julian Center should have a keen interest in the issues of domestic violence, sexual assault and prevention.  In addition, this individual should have at least 3-5 years of senior management experience with increasing levels of responsibility and direct stewardship of Boards of Directors.  It is expected that the President/CEO will have career experience at a senior management level of a human service organization.  Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred. 

Expected allotment of time: 
General management – administration, personnel, etc.  15% 
Organizational development – Board relations, planning, etc. 45% 
Fund Raising and institutional advancement   40%
