(Part time) 20-30 hours per week

Responsible for the overall development and operation of the maintenance functions at the Resident Success Center located at our Carriage House East community. This person will perform repair and maintenance of HVAC, electrical and mechanical systems, plumbing, grounds, structural elements, and equipment.

Position Duties:
The individual must be able to perform the following tasks:
 
•         Maintain a work order system that tracks materials, repairs, and time spent on the facility.
•         Maintain the grounds, including the community gardens, outdoor class room, and surrounding grounds for community activities.
•         Maintain the cleanliness of the Center through regular janitorial cleaning.
•         Develop and direct the preventive maintenance programs for all structures, systems, and equipment.
•         Perform regular inspections of all grounds, structures, and systems and correct any problems.
•         Plan, develop and manage the overall maintenance operations at the facility.
•         Conduct regular safety inspections of the property, correct any unsafe practice or situation and train all staff in the correct handling of chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
•         Create and sustain a positive work environment at the Center, as well as with residents and staff.
•         Coordinate deliveries and assist when needed for pick-up of products, supplies, or donations.
•         Manage volunteer projects that are facilities related and assist with set up and tear down of special events, as needed.
•         Prepare labor, material, time and equipment estimates and solicit bids/quotes with c
•         Assist in the preparation and administration of the maintenance budget for the Center.

Position Qualifications:
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education, training or experience.
• Must be able to work in a diverse environment and with people of diverse backgrounds.
• Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office 365 software and general computer, technology skills.
• Demonstrated ability or experience in the maintenance field desirable.Gene B. Glick Company is a great place to work with a family-oriented culture. • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license in the state of residence.
• Able to work overtime and emergency call in.
• Must be able to read and comprehend the English language.
