The Children's Bureau Development/Communications team needs a creative and innovative intern to help us build on a 168-year legacy of providing hope and help to Indiana children in need. As a Children's Bureau intern, you can look forward to:
• A fun, collaborative work environment
• Playing an essential role in the planning of the Celebrity Cook-Off  and other special events
• Interfacing with a variety of stakeholders including: volunteers, corporate partners, executive staff, donors and even the kiddos staying in our shelter.
• Gaining an understanding of special event fundraising, corporate social responsibility, project management, relationship-building and stewardship

Key Objectives:
• Plan and produce social media posts about Children's Bureau events, volunteers and partners
• Develop creative and engaging content for e-newsletters
• Support upcoming events with social media promotion, print materials, marketing emails, etc.
• Present your experience to Children's Bureau executives at the conclusion of your internship

The Successful Candidate Will:
• Have excellent writing capabilities and an eye for detail
• Be able to think creatively and strategically at a fast pace
• Have good organizational skills, integrity and great follow through
• Be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university as a junior or senior (in good standing)
• Have a minimum of intermediate design skills with a knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Emphasis on Photoshop/InDesign)
• Enjoy learning and working as a team!
