The National Precast Concrete Association seeks an experienced individual passionate about marketing communications initiatives including research, strategy, content marketing, digital marketing, and measurement. The individual will be a key part of a team responsible for all facets of NPCA's communications and marketing efforts.

Organization Overview
National Precast Concrete Association has represented manufacturers of plant-produced precast concrete products and the suppliers of products and services for the industry since 1965. We are dedicated to expanding the use of quality precast concrete and providing members with the programs and information required to operate a successful precast plant.

Position Duties
• Research, create and implement marketing communications plans for distinct audiences, including NPCA members and specifiers of building materials. Plan will include SMART goals, objectives and tactics such as creative, messaging development, content, tracking and reporting.
  o Develops strategies and tools to engage members with the association's offerings such as education, events and resources
  o Develops strategies and tools to educate and engage outside audiences with precast concrete
  o Leads planning for print advertising including theme and messaging
• Content Marketing
  o Leads development of content marketing plan in conjunction with stakeholders
  o Interprets analytics to set strategies for Precast Solutions magazine and the NPCA blog
  o Researches new opportunities and approaches for content marketing
  o Ensures consistency as well as alignment with other NPCA publications
• Leads Google Ads program
  o Strategizes approach and application
  o Reviews and interprets of analytics to lead future strategies
  o Reports on metrics and interprets results
  o Allocates spend suggests budget
• Website
  o Provides strategic input on external facing components of precast.org
  o Reviews and interprets analytics to precast.org and provides strategic advice
  o Researches and implements SEO best practices
• Video
  o Provides strategic direction for marketing video content in conjunction with staff stakeholders
  o Serves as project manager for marketing video development in conjunction with stakeholders
• Works with employees involved in all facets of outreach to provide support as needed
• Researches industry benchmarks and sets goals accordingly
• Tracks and provides relevant, insightful and useful data on electronic sponsorships and translates impact for the development department
• Leads project management duties for related of communications projects
• Drives strategy for marketing collateral
• Provides strategic direction for social media
• Provides strategic direction for email marketing
• Suggests email tools and techniques such as:
  o Enhancements to lists and segmentation
  o A/B testing
  o Marketing automation tools
• Prepares and tracks project budgets to maximize value for the association
• Scans market and members and conducts research and analysis to set strategies
• Scans industry news and uses findings to benefit the association
• Supervises direct report
• Other duties as assigned

Nonessential duties (include but not limited to):
•         Some light lifting (up to 40 pounds) may be required on an occasional basis

Position Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field
• A minimum of 7 years of experience
• Experience with developing and implementing strategy and analyzing outcomes
• Documented experience and success influencing target audiences
• Previous experience with Google Ads
• Track record of innovation and strategic planning balanced with execution
• Data-driven approach to decision-making, including web analytics, digital marketing analytics and segmentation
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated experience leading direct reports
• Demonstrated project management skills
• Experience with program and analytic measurement and evaluation to determine success, as well as interpreting those insights and actionable steps
• Must be able to effectively manage multiple deadlines and plan and allocate staff resources to meet competing demands
• Advanced skills with electronic communication and marketing tools
• Previous experience with copyediting
• Experience with media planning and purchasing, including print, electronic, social and Pay-Per-Click (PPC)
• Previous proven experience and success with SEO and SEM, paid search/PPC advertising and retargeting with measurable results
• Experience with Adobe CC suite
•         Able to travel overnight via airplane (travel less than 10%)

Places where work is performed: This work is performed on the employer's premises, except for scheduled trips, seminars, trade shows, conventions and conferences; in which case, the work is performed at the location.
