This role on our close-knit and fast-paced Accounting team will have primary responsibility for processing biweekly payroll and other associated tasks for Indiana Donor Network and TxJet. Other responsibilities will include providing administrative support to the finance team through work such as data entry and reconciliation of donation data for our Foundation, preparing correspondence to financial contributors and deceased donor next of kin, assisting with accounts receivable, and communicating with hospital partners on claims follow-up.

Organization Overview
Indiana Donor Network is the non-profit health service dedicated to advancing organ, tissue, and eye donation and transplantation throughout Indiana. Indiana Donor Network, one of 58 designated organ recovery organizations in the U.S., is a vital link between people waiting for life-saving organ transplants and donors. Working closely with Indiana hospitals, donor families and the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS), we are a team of skilled, experienced professionals responsible for overseeing and coordinating organ donation across Indiana. Our non-profit organization with 180 employees is also committed to educating Hoosiers about the importance of organ and tissue donation.

Position Duties
This role on our close-knit and fast-paced Accounting team will have primary responsibility for processing biweekly payroll and other associated tasks for Indiana Donor Network and TxJet. Other responsibilities will include providing administrative support to the finance team through work such as data entry and reconciliation of donation data for our Foundation, preparing correspondence to financial contributors and deceased donor next of kin, assisting with accounts receivable, and communicating with hospital partners on claims follow-up. This individual will also be an active team member in the department, participating in projects, committees, and initiatives that enhance or improve the overall success and culture of the organization.

Position Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business Administration, or a related field strongly preferred. Associate's degree and equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree. One (1) to three (3) years of Payroll experience preferred. A working knowledge of word processing, database accounting software and electronic spreadsheets is also required. Knowledge and understanding of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and requirements from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is required. Must be able to maintain confidential information with discretion, including personnel and corporate financial information.
