POSITION OVERVIEW
The assistant director of collegiate services works with the department's director on all matters related to the overall health and wellness of college chapters with a specific focus on recruitment, retention and Panhellenic. Essential functions include oversight of the following areas:

• Serve as the liaison to the Fraternity's recruitment committee.
• Supervise recruitment support staff and/or recruitment-focused educational leadership consultants.
• Direct college chapter recruitment support.
• Review, revise, and develop resources to assist college chapters with successful operations as it pertains to the recruitment, and Panhellenic operation areas.
• Collect, track, and analyze data from college chapters as it relates to new member recruitment and member retention.
• Oversee maintenance and upkeep of the MyVote recruitment software.
• Serve as the liaison between college chapters and Kappa Alpha Theta's NPC Delegation.
• Oversee the recruitment/establishment process for new college chapters.
• Work with collegiate services team to direct new chapter recruitment support which spans with chapter establishment.
• Serve as the liaison to campus partners in a specific region.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

COMPETENCIES
Knowledge of: Trends and best practices in higher education, student learning, and organization policy and procedure.
Skill in: Microsoft Office Suite, facilitation, advising, and leadership.
Ability to: Supervise volunteers (volunteers are remote), collaborate, lead groups, manage a budget, work independently and with a team, problem solve and think strategically.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Previous experience with oversight of college chapter operations preferred. 
• High-level of flexibility to work in a fast-pace environment with many different constituencies.

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS
• Willingness to travel upon request. Travel includes overnight trips for college chapter support visits, conferences, regional meetings, and special tasks as assigned.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to relocate to the Indianapolis area.
