Dress for Success Indianapolis is a non-profit agency that promotes the economic independence of women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. Since 2000, over 17,000 women in Indianapolis have been served through our programs. Indianapolis is one of over 150 Dress for Success affiliates worldwide. The office is in downtown Indianapolis. 
The Success Coach works with individual clients to identify barriers to stable, sustainable employment and helps clients connect to resources that address these barriers.  This staff person is responsible for client assessment, plan development and follow up.  Part-time, 24 hours/week; Schedule may vary as needs of clients change. A limited amount of evening and weekend work is required.  This position reports to the Director of Programs.
Client Services 
• Meet with individual clients to assess their barriers to gaining and/or sustaining stable employment.
• Work with clients to develop a client-centered plan for addressing identified barriers.
• Provide consistent coaching and communication with clients to help them stay motivated.
• Maintain accurate program records, tracking, and prepare reports required for grant reports, board of directors and Dress for Success Worldwide.
• Ensure that clients receive assistance that is personalized, positive, and confidence-building.   
• Manage the scheduling of clients. 
• Strategically grow the number of women served and effective of service through ongoing data analysis, program revision and promotion.    
• Promote Professional Women's Group, Career Development Center, and Suits for Success programming.
• Manage the addition of accurate data regarding clients served and goal attainment.
Agency/community Relations 
• Work with referring partners to promote individual service and other programs at Dress for Success Indianapolis.
• Serve as liaison with social service resources, government agencies and any programs needed by clients.
• Provide superior service to agencies that refer women to DFSI through prompt communications and flexibility to accommodate client needs.
• Participate in agency development meetings with new and established agencies. 
• Be a positive and enthusiastic representative of and advocate for Dress for Success Indianapolis. 
• Be a leader in ensuring the highest level of customer-service provided to clients.  
• Work collaboratively and compassionately with clients, co-workers, and community agencies.
• Bachelor's degree with work experience
• Social services experience highly desirable
• Understanding of poverty and diverse cultures.
• Coaching and/or counseling skills
• Strong listening and other communication skills
• Welcoming personality in all forms of communication
• Mature adult comfortable with enforcing policies 
• Professional and polished image
• Ability to work with diverse groups of people
• Ability to develop, prioritize and accomplish goals
• Can separate personal from professional issues and set appropriate boundaries with clients
• Maintain confidentiality and respect of clients
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Visual:  Required to view and/or prepare reports and other written or computer-generated  documents; 
Oral:  Required for effective communications by telephone, one-on-one conversations and to conduct a wide variety of small to large group presentations;
Hearing:  Required for effective communications by telephone, one-on-one conversations and to conduct a wide variety of small to large group presentations;
Dexterity:  Required for heavy keyboard use, maintaining computerized calendars and preparation of documents, reports, and presentations.  
Other Physical: Requires sitting and standing for extended periods of time.
