Lead an internationally recognized, one-of-a-kind fitness and wellness organization that is fighting back against Parkinson's disease through non-contact boxing. Rock Steady Boxing, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization, has grown to more than 850 affiliates around the world, regularly giving hope to more than 40,000 people diagnosed with PD. Founded in 2006 by former Marion County Prosecutor Scott Newman, Rock Steady Boxing improves the quality of life of people with Parkinson's disease and the people who love them, through an inspirational, group-based boxing-based fitness curriculum.

Rock Steady Boxing is seeking a strategic and seasoned leader who is capable of casting a vision for the future and building on its success. The ideal candidate must be passionate about the mission and be able to bring people together around a shared sense of purpose. An innovator and change agent, this person will have his/her eyes on the horizon while skillfully supporting staff and managing the day-to-day operations. He/she will embody a receptive, as well as a dynamic energy, build trusted relationships with affiliate partners and serve under the direction of a passionate and engaged board of directors. The President will proactively seek opportunities to network with potential partners including other Parkinson's organizations, the medical community, corporations, and potential affiliate networks. $2 million annual budget and staff team of 11.

The following are specific qualifications of the President:
• Bachelor's Degree, experience can be substituted
• Demonstrated leadership experience with a demonstrated track record of contributing to the strategic direction and operational management of a nonprofit organization
• Demonstrated leadership in innovation and improvement.
• Must have the capacity to manage complexity and successfully handle competing priorities
• Must be results oriented and possess strong collaboration, written and verbal communication skills
• Staff development experience with the ability to delegate effectively and create a positive, team-oriented work culture
• Social entrepreneurship with the ability to create and attract opportunities for continuation of organizational and programmatic growth
• Must have a strong business acumen and experience managing a complex
• Experience working in collaboration with a board of directors and supporting recruitment and retention in line with organizational needs
• Experience leading collaboration efforts between and among National affiliate offices to ensure synergy and alignment of priorities and strategies preferred
