Position Summary
This position is part of a small, collaborative, dynamic grants team within the IU Health Foundation who, as a group, are responsible for increasing revenue from government grants/contracts, private foundations and corporations.

Opportunity to join the IUH Foundation Grants Team and do the following:
o Serve as the team lead for government grant submissions and collaborate with others on the Grants team in pursuit of foundation funding opportunities; prioritize five- and six-figure funding opportunities 
o Seek out and identify government funding opportunities to support system-wide priorities
o Work with supervisors and other colleagues across IU Health to identify projects in priority areas for which a government or foundation funder can be matched
o Work with IU Health colleagues, including the Grants Administration office, to submit applications for funding

Ideal Candidate Attributes
o Grant writing experience required
o Knowledge of government grant-seeking process required, including seeking out and analyzing funding opportunities for "fit"
o Ability to work in a face-paced, deadline-driven environment
o Excellent multitasker
o Knowledge of opportunity zones, tax credits a plus

o Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. ,
o 5-7 years of relevant experience required.
o Working knowledge of fundraising software , i.e. Raiser's Edge.
o Proficiency in MS office required (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
o Experience with matrix organization and complex work environment preferred.
