The Director of Facilities Management and Security provides leadership to the Facilities Staff to ensure the building and grounds are maintained and ready for all church programming.  The Director also works to assess, plan, fund and implement both long-and short-term maintenance and repairs.  The Director is responsible for a comprehensive Security plan for the church.

Essential Functions:
• Provide clear supervision to the Facilities staff.
• Serve as staff liaison to Operations Committee and its subcommittee, the Restoration and Replacement Committee
• Plans and Implements a program of maintenance, repair, cleaning and setup for the building and grounds.
• Coordinates Advent and Lenten checklists.
• Develops and implements budgets
• Initiates training of facilities staff.
• Builds relations with other Facilities Managers through participation in the local Facilities Managers group and membership and participation in the National Association of Church Facility Managers.
• Plans and implements a program of emergency and security procedures. 
• Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year
Minimum Qualifications:
• Holds Church Facility Management Certification or is willing to complete necessary course work and testing to obtain certification.
• Prior Management and Supervisory experience.
• Ability to communicate with persons of widely varying educational and cultural backgrounds.
• Proficiency with various types of software
Physical Qualifications:
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders.
• Must be able to stand and sit for long periods of time.
