Position Goal to Support Mission:
To provide oversight, development, evaluation and continuous improvement of CAFÉ programs and staff.

Position Summary:
• Program Development and Management: Establishes an infrastructure to implement all CAFÉ programs for effective program and service delivery. Responsible for day-to-day implementation of CAFE's service delivery model, program operations including two- generational program, Center for Working Families, Crime Prevention, Seniors and more. In partnership with the Executive Director, this position ensures programs and services work in tandem to yield impactful results for the betterment of those served by CAFE. Monitors program performance to ensure compliance and all goals and objectives are met. Provides for the accurate collection of program data and submits timely reports as required by various funding sources and partner organizations. Oversees program budgeting and procurement processes. Seek to develop new and innovative programs to effectively address community needs.
• Fund Development and Management: Coordinates and supports proposal writing within and between program services. Collaborates with the Executive Director in the implementation of public relations, marketing, and fund development strategies. Maintains current grants supporting two-generation programming and oversees the execution of grants including budget preparation, reports, evaluations, adherence to budgets, and other grant requirements.
• Personnel Management: Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, hiring, oversight, evaluation and discipline of staff. Efficiently manage assigned staff in a manner consistent with organizational policies and values. Delivers training as necessary.
• Accountability: Ensures compliance with all program and funding guidelines for projects assigned. Has full knowledge and understanding of all program aspects. Responsible for all customer services standards and performance benchmarks. Ensures all program reporting is accurate and submitted in a timely manner.
• Continuous Improvement: Ensures optimal utilization of resources and maintains quality programming. Works with staff/consultants/stakeholders/partners to refine client flow to ensure clients have access to needed services. Identifies opportunities to improve program delivery through efficiencies and innovation. Works continually toward the improvement of the programs and service delivery.

The CPO will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and work closely with other CAFÉ staff such as the Operations Director and Director of Community Engagement. CPO will supervise all programmatic staff including: Career Coach, Career Navigators, Financial Coach, Family Support Coach, Student Success Coach, Career Pathways Coach, the Behavior Health Specialist and Intake Specialist.

• Bachelor's Degree Required; Master's Preferred in nonprofit management, education, social work, or related field
• Five or more years' experience in direct service in community-based human services
• Five or more years' supervisory, management, evaluation and program development experience
• Two or more years' working with diverse populations
Ability to mobilize staff and partners toward impact and outcomes
• Excellent relationship-building, communication, and verbal and written skills
• Strong values, high integrity, positive reputation
• Demonstrated experience managing a staff team and creating a positive work culture
• Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter and work independently of direct supervision
• Ability to implement concepts learned from training
