If so, then welcome to Central Indiana Community Foundation (CICF). We are seeking an experienced professional to join the development and gift planning team to actively bring in new donor directed funds and raise money for our community leadership initiatives focused on racial equity.
This full-time position will identify, cultivate, solicit and steward a portfolio of prospective donors and be a vocal advocate for CICF's mission and charitable gift vehicles to the community. This position requires outstanding communication and relationship building skills, superior customer service skills and excellent collaboration skills. Professional presence and the ability to interact effectively with a variety of people is essential. Technical experience in financial planning and/or the law is preferred.

Like all members of Foundation staff, this professional must be committed to working through the lens of our mission, learning how systemic racism and other biases marginalize Central Indiana residents and actively working to dismantle unfair systems both internally and in the community.

Minimum of 5-7 years non-profit development experience required. Advanced degree or credentials in fundraising, financial planning or a J.D. is preferred. Professional experience in relationship management, individual fundraising, and cultivation of clients/donors with clearly demonstrated success is also required.
