If you have experience working with victims and are looking for an opportunity to connect with people during times of crisis, this position may interest you. The Satellite Victim Advocate (SVA) is responsible for providing supportive services including crisis intervention, information, and appropriate case management services for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, primarily in the hospital setting. The SVA serves as an informed source of support to victims during immediate crisis and works closely with various community organizations and legal services to successfully support victims and the Beacon of Hope Crisis Center programs. The SVA works after regular business hours on evenings and weekends for 20 hours each week. Strong consideration will be given to those with a Criminal Justice Degree and/or those who are bilingual.
