JOB SUMMARY:   Guides, leads, and directs all aspects of the functions and operations of assigned service areas to ensure quality services are provided within established guidelines and fulfill Noble's mission to expand opportunities and enhance the quality of life for people with disabilities and their families through individualized services.  Facilitates change initiatives, oversees the achievement of performance objectives, and ensures effective internal communication that supports the agency's strategic goals and quality of service.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES. 

o Plan, implement, and monitor daily operation of all Central Indiana, Community Employment, services through the strategic development and provisions of program/services.

o Develop, implement, and coordinate short- and long-range departmental goals and objectives.

o Identify and build relationships with business in Central Indiana, to create opportunities for employment of individuals with disabilities or barriers to employment.

o Prepare and manage the Central Indiana Employment budget within approved guidelines.

o Represent the agency on appropriate interagency councils and professional organizations.

o Ensure effective communication exists among department staff and with other departments.

o Responsible for overall business operations of Noble's employment and workforce  services (N.E.WS.) and Crews. 

o Responsible for business development and leading new career center, by helping individuals  with disabilities and others with barriers to employment receive proper training and guidance to find work. 

 
REQUIRMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in rehabilitation, education, business, psychology, social work, or closely related field.  Master's degree preferred.

• Minimum of three years of supervisory experience, preferably in a setting working with individuals with development disabilities.

• CESP™ Certification, preferred.

• Ticket to Work, experience preferred.
