The Indiana Minority Health Coalition, Inc. (IMHC) is now accepting applications for employment for an Executive Director position. The central role of the Executive Director is to organize and support the work of the Minority Health Coalition of Madison County (MHCMC) located in Anderson, IN. Other responsibilities include building networks within the local community as well as coordinating minority health programs. The Executive Director will be responsible for the development of grassroots support of the mission and goals of the MHCMC.
This is a full-time position with benefits including health and dental insurance, professional development, two (2) weeks vacation and optional additional insurance.
The incumbent must live within the serviced county/community, have a Bachelor's Degree Public Health Administration, Social Work or Human Services and a minimum of five years comparable experience in a community based human services organization. S/he must have outstanding interpersonal, communication and organizational skills, possess math and finance skills, and have knowledge of and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
Frequent in-state travel is required.
