With the goal of attracting exceptional candidates committed to making a difference and who aspire to get the job done, CSH is now accepting applications for a Senior Program Manager (SPM) based in Indianapolis, IN. This position will support efforts to expand housing and service solutions for vulnerable populations, increase cross sector involvement, and create quality supportive housing.

What you will do:
- Deliver in-person and virtual technical assistance, trainings, and webinars on supportive housing.
- Support efforts to create a multi-sector approach to serving highly impacted populations.
- Contribute to CSH's priorities to advance racial equity, address racial disparities in housing and services, and engage and collaborate with communities of color, culturally specific organizations, and persons with lived experience.
- Act as project manager for contracts and/or grants, ensuring clearly defined team roles, on time and on-budget deliverables, and delivery of quality products. CSH expects project managers to foster a work environment based on quality teamwork, mutual accountability, and high quality performance.
- Establish and maintain high quality relationships and partnerships with key community stakeholders. Particularly with staff from jurisdictional and non-profit agencies tied to systems related to supportive housing that include homelessness, housing, physical and behavioral health, justice, child welfare, youth, older adults, and others.
- Cultivate new relationships and funding opportunities including fielding and responding to external requests for resources and support. Participate in team fund development activities.
- Provide system transformation analysis, process facilitation, and support to and across multiple systems that work with people who benefit from supportive housing.
- Support improved alignment between the health care and housing sectors by creating new cross sector partnerships, supporting the public health workforce with the best practices from the homelessness and housing systems and aligning resources to develop housing initiatives and opportunities for people experiencing health and other disparities in rural and partially rural areas across Indiana with a focus on those who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness.
- Work with Affordable Housing, homelessness and healthcare sector to improve health disparities in rural and primarily rural areas.
- Align efforts to expand the number of Community Health Workers and Peer Recovery Specialists with housing developed through this initiative.
- Support a cross-sector, statewide, rural focused, health and housing workgroup to: Align priorities and funding between sectors; provide support to the project; include at least 3-4 people who have experienced homelessness; conduct community stakeholder engagement process to drive priorities; analyze data from the community process and state's rural health improvement plan; develop a cross sector health and housing referral system to address rural health needs; and, provide support to the project.
- Identify ways in which the Balance of State Continuum of Care Coordinated Entry system can improve access to housing for individuals in rural areas.
- Develop and deliver trainings and webinars along with written resources.
- Employ anti-racist approaches in all aspects of internal and external work.

- 5+ years of experience in supportive housing, behavioral and physical healthcare, homelessness, justice, child welfare and/or related fields.
- Bachelor's degree; equivalent experience may substitute for education.
- Experience incorporating the perspectives of multiple communities, including communities of color and people with lived experience, in the consideration of impacts and outcomes of a decision-making process.
- An understanding of the concepts of institutional and structural racism and bias and their impact on underserved and underrepresented communities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including business writing, the ability to facilitate and train, be an active listener, ability to represent CSH externally and internally.
- Previous project management experience with demonstrated leadership and organizational skills and the ability to manage teams, budgets and deadlines with moderate supervision.
- Knowledge and experience in providing technical assistance and consulting services to diverse stakeholders including government, and experience and familiarity with permanent housing and services models for highly impacted populations.
- Experience with colleagues and external audiences and partners in the areas of public policy, systems change, housing development and operations, and/or the delivery of supportive services.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to diverse audiences, specifically racially, ethnically and socially diverse communities.
- Ability to lead initiatives, implement projects, and pursue goals with minimal supervision.
- Frequent local and regional travel and occasional national travel required (when it is safe to do so, once in-person gatherings resume)
