Program Description 

The Inclusivity Institute is an organization committed to using research, outreach, and collaboration to reduce racial and economic segregation in American housing markets. As part of this work, the Institute developed the Family Assistance Program (FamAP). FamAP is aimed at reducing residential displacement and economic hardship among renters who have fallen behind on payments due to a short-term emergency and are at risk of eviction.

FamAP Program Coordinator 

The Inclusivity Institute is growing again and seeks a Program Coordinator to administer FamAP by communicating with clients and partners, maintaining the program database, and analyzing outcomes to help evaluate and expand the program.

We are looking for a self-motivated, highly organized individual who is passionate about their work to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who can understand and relate well to diverse populations, has experience maintaining a high volume of client information, and can work independently.

Job Functions 

Job responsibilities include, but not limited to: 

  • Communicate with clients in an empathetic and professional manner
  • Enter and update client and partner information into database with accuracy
  • Coordinate with internal partners to complete program processes
  • Identify and self-solve necessary steps to complete thorough and accurate intake process 
  • Maintain client and program confidentiality 
  • Collect and analyze client feedback to present program improvement and successes
  • Coordinate with Inclusivity Institute staff on ideas and expansion of other programs
  • Assist the Director of Residential Mobility and Engagement in analyzing program outcomes for research, advocacy, program development, and marketing. 

Skills and Abilities Required

  • Possess exemplary written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to convey information clearly and concisely to diverse groups
  • Approach work through racial equity lens, in line with the Institute's mission
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required, with moderate proficiency in Excel 
  • Ability to manage deadlines to ensure projects and reports are delivered accurately and on time 
  • Ability to work independently with minimum instruction (post-training) but open to project collaboration 
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • CRM or database experience necessary, Salesforce experience preferred

Working Conditions

Work is performed in an office environment. No physical effort required. 
Must be able to remain in stationary (sitting/standing) position most of the day. This person occasionally needs to move about outside of their office to join meetings or access files, copiers, etc. This person will constantly operate a computer, phone, and other office machinery. This person will communicate via phone and email for a large portion of their day.
